Guys and Dolls Creatives

Chris Cuming – Director and Choreographer

After the great success of “Top Hat” CHRIS CUMING  returns to Direct and Choreograph “Guys and Dolls”.

Trained at The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.

Chris has recently been working in venues from The Other Palace, Hope Mill Theatre, The Finborough Theatre and Cambridge Arts Theatre to at festivals such as the Brighton Fringe Festival. Chris’s has an extensive background in Musical Theatre, but is interested in creating theatre that simply tells the story through whatever medium it may require. From new writing to Shakespeare, devised work to Musical Theatre, I’m interested in movement and action seamlessly coming together to engage and excite audiences.

Kevin Bell – Musical Director

Having been drummer/percussionist for NNOS for more than 25 years, Kevin is very much looking forward to actually seeing the show for a change, rather than being under the stage! Kevin has been Musical Director for numerous shows, including Cabaret, Beauty and the Beast and Barry Manilow’s Copacabana. His experience covers a broad spectrum, from performing to arranging and also composing. He has created and recorded music and sound effects for several theme parks and attractions across the world, including SantaPark in Finland, the London Dungeons and Alton Towers. Kevin’s own arrangements and compositions have also been performed worldwide, including Australia, Malaysia and London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Nicola Brooks Assistant Choreographer

Nicola has performed in many NNOS and Threshold shows since her childhood. She went on to enjoy a professional acting career from cruise ships to holiday camps, from showgirl to magician’s assistant to backing dancer for DJ Pat Sharpe live road shows. She can still be found dancing as part of the professional dancing group “Velvet Kittens” and taking part in demonstrations in Ballroom and Latin with her husband. After taking time out to have a family, Nicola returned to the NNOS and Threshold fold. Nicola has been dance captain and performed in many Threshold shows, including the very successful “Hairspray” and took the role of Assistant Choreographer for Threshold’s 2016 production of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5”.
